Hi, my name is Jayson. It’s my honour to share my story with you. I originally come from China, and I have been living in Australia for two years now as a work-holiday maker.

I’m interested in spiritual practice, I found solace and support in my passion for tarot and oracle cards. These practices helped me connect with others, dive deeper into my intuition and inner wisdom, and offers a sense of guidance as I journey through life.

My first experience with men traces back to high school. I was terrified afterwards because we didn't use protection. Stigma and discrimination shamed me from going to the hospital to get tested. Funny enough, I went to the blood donation center and donated 200ml of my blood, just to make sure I was healthy.

我第一次与男生亲密接触的经历是在高中时候，懵懵懂懂的我因为没有使用保护措施，事后不知所措。在当时检测性病是一件昂贵且大家都羞愧的事情，我的城市并没有一所专业的检测机构。说起来可笑，为了确认自己没有感染HIV，我跑去当地的献血站捐献了200毫升的血液。

As someone who had experienced the fear and stigma with HIV, I wanted to help raise awareness and promote sexual health in my community. Luckily, in Australia, there are options and support programs for international people that could help prevent HIV and other STIs, I would like to share with you how to get easy access to PrEP and sexual health services in Australia.

我想通过我的经历帮助大家更好地了解艾滋病以及如何有效预防的措施。在澳洲有非常多的渠道可以获取到HIV预防药物-PrEP，以及其他性病的免费检测和治疗服务。

PrEP is a medication you can choose to take daily (one pill a day) or on-demand basis. It reduces the chances of getting HIV by 99.9%.I  take PrEP daily after breakfast and never experienced any side effects.

PrEP是一种可以让你身体产生有效艾滋抗体的预防药物。即使暴露在HIV病毒下的情况下，有了PrEP的保护，也可以有至少99.9%的预防效果。服用PrEP的方式大致分为两种：Daily (每天服用一粒)和On-demand (2-1-1服用法)。我习惯每天早上服用，并未产生任何副作用。

In Australia, PrEP is a prescribed medication. First you will need to get a prescription. Most cities here have a sexual health clinic, staffs are friendly and professional, it’s important that you be open and honest with your situation. I normally book an appointment and get tested, when the results come back negative, doctor will give you a prescription for PrEP.

PrEP在澳洲是一种处方药，在各大城市一般都会有免费的性健康诊所，预约无需提供任何证件。工作人员非常专业友好，你可以如实告诉他们你的真实情况。体检完确认你是阴性之后，会给你开一张PrEP的处方。

Being on PrEP doesn’t  necessarily mean you’re more sexually active than those who don’t. To me it shows that you are taking more control of your well-being and responsible for your sexual partners.

服用PrEP药物并不代表乱约，我认为这是掌控自己生理和心理健康的一种生活方式，也表现出对性伴侣的负责态度。

The fact is that accessing PrEP for international visitors are almost as simple as it is for an Australian. With your prescription, you can choose to purchase the medication from your local pharmacy cost around $50 per month, or to get it online for $20.  Furthermore, if you’re facing financial difficulties and could not afford the extra expenses, I discovered a coupon scheme where you could be granted PrEP for free. 刚落地澳洲的时候，因为持有临时签证且没有澳洲官方医保Medicare，我以为在澳洲获取PrEP以及其他检查服务会非常昂贵且困难。但实际上并不是。拿到PrEP处方（prescription）之后，你可以选择在当地Chemist warehouse、Priceline等各大药房购买PrEP药物，每月价格约在$50左右，不着急的话也可以选择在线上药房 pan.org.au 购买印度版本的PrEP，物流运输周期在三周左右，价格约是药房的三分之一；如果你经济困难，无法承受因为PrEP带来的额外支出，也可以申请PAN的免费PrEP coupon，只需提供带有你名字的一个月内的处方（prescription）和护照信息，可以获得一次性三个月的免费药物。以下是申请链接：

Everyone deserves to experience their sexuality freely, safely and without discrimination or judgment. I believe that by working together and sharing knowldge, we can empower individuals, break down stigma, and create a world where HIV is no longer a threat to anyone, anywhere.

每个人都应该自由、安全地、没有歧视或评判地体验他们的性取向。我相信，通过共同努力和分享知识，我们可以赋予个人力量，消除污名，在这个世界里艾滋病将不再威胁到任何人。
